01Medium element fertilizer

(1) Calcium fertilizer

Commonly used calcium fertilizers in agriculture include lime, gypsum, and calcium-containing NPK fertilizers. Among the most commonly used are lime and gypsum.

Lime can be used as base fertilizer and top dressing, but not as seed fertilizer. When applying, it is required to spread, and strive to be even, to prevent local soil from being too alkaline or not being applied.

(2) Magnesium fertilizer

Common magnesium fertilizers include magnesium oxides, sulfates, carbonates, nitrates, chlorides and phosphates, silicates and other forms, and their commercial forms are solid and liquid. Among the solid magnesium fertilizers, some have high solubility, but some are slightly soluble.

Magnesium fertilizer is suitable for base fertilizer, but also for top dressing and foliar spraying. Water-soluble magnesium fertilizers are generally surface-applied, and insoluble and low-soluble magnesium fertilizers should be mixed with the soil. Foliar spraying of water-soluble magnesium fertilizer is a commonly used effective measure to correct the magnesium deficiency of crops. It can spray 0.5%~1.0% sugar alcohol calcium magnesium fertilizer solution.

(3) Sulfur fertilizer

At present, the most widely used sulfur fertilizers include gypsum, sulfur, and some sulfur-containing nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers. Factors that should be considered when applying sulfur fertilizers include soil pH, soil aeration, crop types, and other sulfur sources.

There are many materials that can provide sulfur, mainly containing sulfide fertilizer, gypsum and sulfur, and organic fertilizer. Sulfide-containing fertilizers include ammonium sulfate, superphosphate, potassium sulfate, and sulfur-based compound fertilizers.

Gypsum and sulfur are also often used as sulfur fertilizers. Among them, gypsum can be used as base fertilizer, topdressing and seed fertilizer to provide sulfur nutrition; gypsum is also used to improve the soil, and the application of gypsum must be combined with irrigation and drainage engineering.

02Trace element fertilizer

(1) Boron fertilizer

Boron fertilizer can be used as base fertilizer, top dressing and seed fertilizer.

(2) Iron fertilizer

The most commonly used iron fertilizer in production is ferrous sulfate. At present, extra-root topdressing is mostly used, and the spray concentration is 0.2% to 1%.

(3) Copper fertilizer

Copper fertilizer can be used as base fertilizer, top dressing and seed treatment.

(4) Zinc fertilizer

Zinc fertilizer can be used as base fertilizer, top dressing and seed fertilizer.

(5) Manganese fertilizer

The most commonly used manganese fertilizer in production is manganese sulfate, which is generally used as extra-root topdressing, seed soaking, seed dressing and soil seed fertilizer, and insoluble manganese fertilizer is generally used as base fertilizer.

(6) Molybdenum fertilizer

Molybdenum fertilizer is mostly used as seed fertilizer and extra-root topdressing.
