The 52% potassium sulfate produced by Huaqiang Chemical Group is a fully water-soluble fertilizer with an annual output of 100,000 tons.

Mannheim furnace (fixed bed) is used to produce potassium sulfate for agriculture by the metathesis reaction of potassium chloride and sulfuric acid; imported potassium chloride is the raw material, and the purity of potassium chloride requires KCl≥96.0% (that is, K2O≥60%), containing Water content ≤0.5%; use sulfuric acid concentration H2SO4 ≥98.0%.

Potassium sulfate is mainly used as fertilizer and applied to some chlorine-free crops (chloride ions reduce the yield and quality of some crops), such as tobacco, citrus, grapes, tea, flax, potatoes, vegetables, etc. Another important use is to make NPK blended fertilizers containing sulfates and to supply sulfur-deficient crops with sulfur nutrients.
