Do you know the "taboo" of 13 kinds of fertilizers?

1. Ammonium bicarbonate and urea cannot be mixed

When we fertilize fruit trees in spring, we usually apply urea and ammonium bicarbonate. However, what we need to know is that the amide nitrogen in urea cannot be absorbed by crops, and can only be converted into ammonium under the action of adenase in the soil. Nitrogen can be absorbed and utilized by crops, and after ammonium bicarbonate is applied to the soil, it will cause the soil solution to be acidic in a short period of time, which can accelerate the volatilization of nitrogen in urea. Therefore, they cannot be mixed.

2. Ammonium bicarbonate cannot be mixed with bacterial fertilizer

Sometimes, when we topdress the spring fruit trees, we will also topdress some bacterial fertilizer in the soil. However, every day, we advise cat friends not to apply bacterial fertilizer and ammonium bicarbonate together, because ammonium bicarbonate will emit a certain concentration. The ammonia gas has a certain toxic effect on the active bacteria in the bacterial fertilizer, which will make the bacterial fertilizer lose its efficiency. The bacterial fertilizer is not cheap. If it fails, it will be a heavy loss for us.

3. Acid fertilizers cannot be mixed with alkaline fertilizers

In spring, fruit trees are generally deficient in nitrogen, and we will also apply a certain amount of nitrogen fertilizer accordingly, but we must not mix acidic fertilizers with alkaline fertilizers, such as ammonium bicarbonate, ammonium sulfate, ammonium nitrate, Ammonium phosphate can not be mixed with alkaline fertilizers such as plant ash, lime, kiln dust and potash fertilizer. Once mixed, they will neutralize, which will cause nitrogen loss and reduce fertilizer efficiency.

4. Can not water immediately after urea application

We can't water the fruit trees immediately after applying urea, because urea will be converted into amide when it is applied to the soil. If it is watered immediately, it will be easily lost with the water. We can't apply it before heavy rain. What we need to pay attention to is After applying urea, the method of covering soil can improve fertilizer efficiency.

5. Avoid using ammonium nitrate

In the process of planting fruit trees, we must pay more attention to the application of ammonium nitrate. If it is not used, it is unnecessary, because fruit trees can absorb ammonium nitrate ions very easily. If it absorbs excessively, it will cause fruit tree poisoning.

6. Ammonium sulfate cannot be used for a long time

Ammonium sulfate on the market is a physiologically acidic fertilizer. If we apply it on the same soil for a long time, it will increase the acidity of the soil and destroy the soil aggregate structure; if we apply it in alkaline soil, the ammonium ions of ammonium sulfate will be absorbed , And the acid root ion remaining in the soil reacts with calcium, which will make the soil harden and harden, which also has a great influence on the activity of fruit tree roots.

7. Don't just use diammonium phosphate as base fertilizer or seed fertilizer

In the north, people will use diammonium phosphate as a base fertilizer or plant fertilizer, but in fact, diammonium phosphate is a high-phosphorus, low-nitrogen, and potassium-free binary compound fertilizer. It is needed and appropriate when applied. With the combination of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers, the effect will be better.

8. Ban unripe manure

In greenhouse planting in spring, most crops have begun to be planted, and base fertilizer must be applied before planting. Manure is a base fertilizer that most of us will choose. However, we must pay attention to it. Applying immature manure, otherwise it may cause root burning, or the ammonia produced during the decomposition process will also harm the seedlings. Especially for tomatoes, the application of organic fertilizer that has not been decomposed is particularly easy to cause virus diseases.

9. Don't apply too much high-concentration fertilizer at once

Some growers are afraid that the crops grown in the ground will not grow well, so they want to start with fertilizer and increase the amount of fertilizer. The effect is definitely good, but no matter what kind of fertilizer, if the dose is too large at a time , It may directly damage the roots of the crops, thereby affecting the growth of the crops, which determines the yield will not be much better.

Although many growers have been planting for a long time and have sufficient experience, they still need to be careful not to be too greedy for fertilizers.

10. Avoid spreading or surface application of phosphorus fertilizers.

Phosphorus has very little mobility in the soil, and it is particularly easy to be adsorbed and fixed by the soil when it is applied or surfaced, thereby greatly reducing the fertilizer efficiency of phosphorus.

11. Can't just use micro-fertilizer

In the current crop planting, everyone is paying more and more attention to trace elements, but we must pay attention to that although zinc, molybdenum, boron, rare earth and other micronutrient fertilizers have good effects on crop "deficiency syndrome", we must not " "Micro-fertilizer is the master", to avoid causing crop malnutrition and hindering growth and development.

12. Alkaline fertilizers such as calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer cannot be mixed with ammonium ammonia fertilizer

Because the mixed application of alkaline fertilizers and ammonium ammonia fertilizers, such as ammonium sulfate, ammonium bicarbonate, and ammonium chloride, will increase the volatilization loss of ammonia, thereby reducing fertilizer efficiency.

13. Chemical fertilizers cannot be mixed with rhizobia fertilizers and other bacterial fertilizers

Generally speaking, chemical fertilizer has strong corrosiveness, volatility and water absorption. If mixed with bacterial fertilizer, it will kill or resist living bacteria and reduce the effect of bacterial fertilizer.

There are many taboos on fertilization in spring. The taboos mentioned in the article are the problems we commonly use in fertilizers during spring.
